Charge cooler
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A charge cooler system is a type of intercooler where the cooler uses a form of heat exchanger in line with the turbo, this cools the charge air temperature before entering the engine.
Another variation of the above is Water to Air cooling (WTA). In this example exchanger is sealed in its own case, with water being pumped through it. Also called Water To Air (WTA) cooling.
