Church on Sunday is a song by the band Green Day, from their 2000 album Warning, it also appears on the bands Tune in Tokyo EP. It was written by Billie Joe Armstrong.

Church on Sunday is about the time Billie Joe Armstrong saved his marriage. He and his wife, Adrienne Armstrong, became prone to arguments throughout Green Day's albums. Church on Sunday is a song about compromising. Billie Joe has said before, "It's a song about when you're in a long term relationship with somebody, you have to keep reinventing it, and it takes a lot of compromise."<ref>1</ref>
