Commies

Primarily "Commies" is a slang term used throughout the 20th century to label those who support and follow communist ideals. Some examples of this usage are: in Ronald Radosh's memoir "Commies", the 1962 film The Commies are Coming, the Commies are Coming, and in a BBC article Klingons and Commies.
"Commies" is also the term used to describe and refer to Commerce Students studying at the Queen's School of Business in Queen's University, in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. The term has been used in Queen's University for many decades, and is used synonomously when describing students of a particular faculty. It should not be confused with the term for Communism.
