Compassion In World Farming is a European based animal welfare organisation, which has branches in the United Kingdom, China and Ireland.
It enjoys the support of various celebrities including Joanna Lumley, and campaigns against the live export of animals, inhumane slaughter, and systems of factory farming which includes the farming of animals for fur.
It promotes organic and free range animal produce, as well as vegetarianism and veganism, as ways to reduce animal suffering and environmental damage.
