Conor McNicholas
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Conor McNicholas is the editor of IPC-run music magazine The New Musical Express, better known as the NME. He boosted sales of the magazine in the early 2000s by supporting the growing British rock scene which included bands such as The Vines and Terris. McNicholas used to write for the dance press holding senior positions at both Ministry and Mixmag magazines before going on to edit Muzik shortly before the magazine's collapse. He is on the short side and odd looking. He would like to edit GQ when he grows up but will probably continue his tabloid style fixation and be a staff writer on Heat or Nuts. He makes extra money being a talking head on any tv show about The Libertines or other cutting edge youth bands. He himself is cool and compiles cool lists for his magazine. Babyshambles, they're cool. As are The Horrors.
