Curb ramp

A curb ramp is an accessible transition from the low side of a curb to the high side (usually 6" change in level). Accessible curb ramps shall be a minimum of 3'-0" wide, and shall be sloped no greater than 1:12 (8.33%). The concrete curb ramp shall also be scored with grooves which allow for traction and water runoff, as well as be stained a color that significantly contrasts with the adjacent concrete. If a curb ramp contains flared sides, they shall be no greater than 1:10 slope.
