Cytherea can be:
- Another name for the goddess Aphrodite of Greek mythology,
- A synonym of the orchid genus Calypso.
- A genus of Bombyliidae, Cytherea (insect).
- A generic name used for the smooth clam Callista chione, from the Mediterranean that is eaten in Spain, Italy, Morocco, Balkan countries and elsewhere, and
- Cytherea, an adult movie star, famous for female ejaculation.
