DVS Shoe Company

The DVS Shoe Company is a skateboard shoe company owned by Podium Inc. founded in late 1990s (1997 to be exact) by Podium Distribution. It was drawn up to be a huge success. Podium called their farm company, DVS Shoe Company or DVS for short. In 1999 just 2 years after founding, Podium sent out 3 DVS models. The result; a huge success. DVS Shoes have been widely popular especially since 2004 when many shoe shops started to sell DVS shoes.

As of 2005, DVS is probably one of the most popular brands of shoes with men and women in their teens to late twenties, especially in the Southern California region near where DVS started.

The parent company, Podium Distribution, also owns another very popular skate shoe brand, Lakai Limited, as well as the Matix clothing line.
