Dagens Nyheter (DN) (Swedish: lit. news of the day) is a daily newspaper in Sweden. It has the largest circulation of Swedish morning newspapers, followed by Göteborgs-Posten and Svenska Dagbladet, and opinion leaders usually choose DN as the venue for publishing major debate articles. The stated position of the editorial page is "independent liberal".
It is published in Stockholm and aspires to full national and international coverage.
DN was founded by Rudolf Wall in 1864. The format was completely changed from the classic broadsheet to tabloid on October 5, 2004.
