[edit] Career

She had never seriously considered modeling, but found herself launched into the business after meeting a schoolmate's mother who headed Toronto's Susan J. Model & Talent Management. After a year of working with Susan J., however, Werbowy thought she could be doing more with another agency and left. [citation needed]Image:Werbowy.jpg After switching over to Elite Models, Werbowy began landing several prominent bookings in Canada but still wasn't meeting with much international success. When Elite Canada's head scout, Elmer Olsen, started his own agency however, Werbowy followed and her career really began to flourish. Within a few years, and under the guidance of International Management Group (IMG) internationally, Werbowy started a international career.

Werbowy holds the current record of opening the most shows in her opening season. [citation needed]

To date, her clients have included Prada, Yves Saint-Laurent, Versace, Marc Jacobs, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Givenchy, Belstaff, Lancôme, Ralph Lauren, Christian Dior and Chanel. In her first season she captured two of the modelling world's most coveted prizes: the cover of Vogue Italia, twice; and Prada's Fall/Winter ad campaign.[citation needed]
