The Day Out of Days is a filmmaking term for a chart showing the workdays for the cast of a film. The chart is usually encoded with letters, the most common of which are as follows:
- S = Start
- R = Rehearsal
- TR = Travel
- T = Test
- W = Work
- H = Hold (Idle day)
- D = Drop
- P = Pick-up
- F = Finish
