Decatur Airport (IATA: DECICAO: KDEC) is a public airport located four miles (6 km) east of the central business district (CBD) of Decatur, a city in Macon County, Illinois, USA. The airport is used for general aviation, but mostly for one commercial airline. Service is subsidized by the Essential Air Service program. On November 6, 2006, Mesa Airlines announced that new non-stop service to Chicago Midway Airport would begin in February, 2007. The flights will be operated by their wholly-owned subsidiary, Air Midwest.
