Detour Memphis

Detour Memphis is an online magazine that specializes in avant-garde and underground works (including poetry, plays, short stories, and other works). Detour Memphis is also a performing arts space in Memphis.
Created by Nick A. Davis in 2001, Detour Memphis’ is a launch pad for individuals who can’t be published or recognized by mainstream media. The online magazine was founded in 2003.
Detour Memphis has several divisions under its umbrella: SCP (a film co-op), Davis-Neiman (a website consulting service), and On The 6… (a weekly webcast). Detour Memphis’ URL is www.detourmemphis.com[1].
