A drag paradiddle is a drum rudiment consisting of a paradiddle with a drag before the first note.
[edit] Types
There are two types of Drag Paradiddle, named #1 and #2.
The first consists of an accented tap followed by a paradiddle with the first note a drag.

The second adds another drag between the tap and the paradiddle, so the entire rudiment fits into two beat of 4/4 time.
