A dragsaw is an early power saw using a six foot steel crosscut saw to buck logs to length. Prior to the advent of the chainsaw by the second world war, the dragsaw was a manner of taking the hard work out of cutting wood
Early dragsaws were steam powered and later gasoline powered. Some manufacturers included Multnomah and Wee McGregor.
