Dsungaripterus was a pterosaur with a wingspan of 3 metres (10 feet). It had a bony crest running along its snout, and long, narrow, upcurved jaws with a pointed tip. It had no teeth in the front part of its jaws, which were probably used to remove shellfish from rocks or gaps in the rocks. In addition, from the rest of its build, it is believed that it ate fish. It lived in northern China during the early Cretaceous period.
