Echoing green
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Echoing Green is a non-profit organization founded in 1987 and operating out of New York City. The organization is dedicated to providing seed funding, consulting services, and development support to promising but unproven social entrepreneurs. Since its foundation, Echoing Green has provided over $22 million dollars through its Echoing Green Fellows program towards new organizations in the social sector, helping nearly 400 individuals.
A wide range of organizations have received support from Echoing Green: they include a legal assistance and public education office in rural eastern Montana, an alternative high school with a student-driven curriculum, and an alternative dispute resolution center for victims of abuse.
