Econometrica is an academic journal of economics, publishing articles not only in econometrics but in many areas of economics. It is published by the Econometric Society via Blackwell Publishing. The current editor of Econometrica is Eddie Dekel.

Econometrica was first published in 1933. Currently, its most widely cited article is a paper by Daniel Kahneman and Amos Tversky which introduced prospect theory. [1]
