Eddie Safranski

Eddie Safranski (born December 25, 1918 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; died January 10, 1974 in Los Angeles, California) was a jazz bassist best known for his work with Stan Kenton. He had also worked with Charlie Barnet and Benny Goodman<ref>All Music</ref> From 1946 to 1953 he won the Down Beat Readers' Poll for bassist.<ref>Down Beat</ref>
