Edgeley

Edgeley is a mainly residential, blue collar neighbourhood within the town of Stockport. Edgeley comprises the small Sykes reservoir backed onto a park and bowling green, a recently refurbished main street, and largely close-packed terraced housing. Main feature is Edgeley Park, home of Stockport County F.C. and the top rugby team Sale Sharks. It was the birthplace of the British film director Sidney Gilliat.
