The Eel is the name used by two supervillains in the Marvel Universe.

The original Eel was named Leopold Stryke. His brother Jordan was the original Viper. They were members of the first Serpent Squad. The original Eel was also a teammate of Plantman, Scarecrow, Unicorn and Porcupine when they worked for Count Nefaria. He was killed in the Madripoor Bloodsport Tournament by Toad.

The second Eel was a member of the second Crimson Cowl's Masters of Evil. He has recently been apprehended by the Thunderbolts.
[edit] Powers and Abilities
Both Eels wore special suits that were coated with an extremely slippery gel, and could generate a powerful electrical shock.
