Eid is a municipality in the county of Sogn og Fjordane, Norway. It lies as a centre in between the other municipalities Måløy, Sandane, Stryn and Volda. Hornindalsvatnet, the deepest lake in Europe, is located there.

It is known for its very own race of horses, called the fjording, which is characterised by its white and black mane.

The municipal centre of Nordfjord is Nordfjordeid.
