Eleanor "Miss Ellie" Southworth Ewing Farlow

Eleanor Southworth Ewing Farlow, Miss Ellie, was a character in the popular American television series Dallas, played by Barbara Bel Geddes (1978-1984,1985-1990) and also played by Donna Reed (1984-1985). Miss Ellie was the matriarch of the rambunctious Ewing family. She was the second wife of Jock Ewing and had three sons with him: J.R., Gary, & Bobby. Miss Ellie had fierce pride in her heritage, deep-seated courageousness, and a strong belief in the strength of family that kept the Ewings together under one roof, with the exception of her son Gary who lived in California. Miss Ellie married Clayton Farlow a few years after the death of her first husband Jock.
