Elefant (band)

Elefant is an Indie band from New York, led by Diego Garcia.
Their debut EP "Gallery Girl" was released February 4 2003. Their full-length debut, Sunlight Makes me Paranoid, was re-released in October 2004 on Hollywood Records following the success of the single, "Misfit". The album was originally released on April 8 2003 by Kemado Records. Their sophomore album, The Black Magic Show, was released April 20 2006.
Garcia, whose parents are Argentine, graduated from Brown University in 2000 and went to New York to search for musicians with whom he could start a band. A year later, he gathered bassist Jeff Berrall, guitarist Mod, and drummer Kevin McAdams for the eclectic dream pop group they named Elefant.<ref name="allmusic">Wilson, MacKenzie. Their song 'Uh Oh Hello' was featured in the FIFA 07 game. The song 'Why' was played on a season finale of Scrubs.
