[edit] Biography
[edit] Early life
Bogosian, an Armenian American, was born in Woburn, Massachusetts. After graduating from Oberlin College, he moved to New York to pursue a career in theatre.
[edit] Career
As a performance artist, Bogosian has a very distinctive style. His one-man shows are a minimalist blend of dark comedy, geopolitical commentary, and social realism. When performing on stage, Bogosian generally appears as a series of characters, and uses only a microphone and a folding chair as props.
Bogosian has recently joined the cast of Law & Order: Criminal Intent as Captain Daniel Ross, replacing Jamey Sheridan's character, Captain James Deakins.
Some of his plays have recently been revived on and off-Broadway, with an updated version of his 1994 play SubUrbia at Second Stage Theatre and a new Broadway engagement of his highly successful Talk Radio, to star Liev Schreiber.
