Ernst Mielck

Ernst Mielck (1877-1899) was a Finnish composer who was born in Vyborg and started his piano lessons at the age of ten. In 1891 he was sent to Berlin, where he studied music under Max Bruch. Mielck returned to Finland in 1896. He died of tuberculosis in Switzerland at the age of 21.
