Europe may refer to:

• Europe, a peninsula in the west of Eurasia
  • Continental Europe, the "mainland" of Europe that excludes Britain, Ireland and other European islands
  • European Union, a supranational entity comprising 25 nations which are located mostly on this peninsula

• A football (soccer) team referred to as being "in Europe" usually means the participation of the team in one of the major European football competitions: the Champions League and the UEFA Cup.

The adjective European may refer to anything associated with Europe or the European Union.
