European route E18

Image:E18-junction133.jpg European route E18 begins at Northern Ireland, then through Scotland, England, Norway, Sweden, and Finland to end at Russia. It is about 1,890 km (1,174 mi) in length.

It goes through CraigavonBelfastLarneStranraerGretnaCarlisle to Newcastle. Like all European routes it is not signposted in the United Kingdom.

It is connected by ferry to Kristiansand in Norway. The ferry connection will however be closed down near the end of 2006. In Norway and Sweden the road continues KristiansandArendalPorsgrunnLarvikSandefjordTønsbergHortenDrammenOsloAskimKarlstadÖrebroVästeråsStockholm/Kapellskär
In Finland it goes from Åland via the southern Finland via big cities Turku/NaantaliSaloLohjaHelsinkiPorvooLoviisaKotkaHaminaVaalimaa, and then to Russia to cities VyborgSaint Petersburg.
