Facebox is an online social networking website specifically targeted at the European youth. It is developed by Incrowd, the Belgium-based publisher of popular online social media such as Bingbox, Redbox and Coolbox. Facebox coexists alongside Incrowd’s existing communities, which have more than 15 million members throughout Europe.

Facebox is currently available in six languages: English, French, Spanish, German, Portuguese and Dutch. Other European languages are planned in the near future.

On Facebox, members can create their own web pages, extend their social network, publish their music playlists, share videos, post blogs, join groups called ‘clans’ and much more.

Facebox uses localization technology ensuring that all content is geotargeted and personalized to each member’s profile. This enables a member to have localized searches and overviews on the community, displaying only those member profiles of his or her own age range and region.

Facebox claims to attract over 150,000 new members per day.
