Fairplex, formerly known as the Los Angeles County Fairgrounds, is governed by the Los Angeles County Fair Association, is the home of the historic L.A. County Fair and other year-round educational, multicultural and entertainment events.

The Fairplex grounds cover 543 acres and include nearly 325,000 square feet of indoor exhibit space; Fairplex Park, a horse racing facility with a grandstand and 5/8-mile racetrack; the 247-suite Sheraton Suites Fairplex Hotel; the Barretts Equine Limited, an equine auction complex; a recreational vehicle park; a child development center; scenic parks, plazas and picnic areas; a historic train exhibit; 12 acres of carnival grounds; and approximately 250 acres of paved parking areas to accommodate 30,000 vehicles. The Fairplex is also home to a dragstrip known as Pomona Raceway which hosts both the opening and closing rounds of the NHRA drag racing series.

It is located at 1101 W. McKinley Ave., Pomona, California 91768, approximately 30 miles east of downtown Los Angeles and 10 miles west of Ontario International Airport, and two blocks north of the San Bernardino Freeway (I-10). The Fairplex is accessible from Fairplex Dr., White Ave. or Garey Ave. freeway exits.
