Fes el Bali

Fes el Bali (English Language: The Old Fes) is the oldest and walled part of Fes, Morocco. It was founded by the Idrisid Idris II. The Bali term came in contrast with Fes Jdid (English Language: New Fes) which was built by the Marinids in 1276.

Fes el Bali is classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
