Flexibility refers to the ability to easily bend an object or the ability to adapt to different circumstances. Flexibility is used as a term and measurement in many different sciences.

In fitness, health and sports, flexibility has a different meaning. Flexibility is the ability of your muscles, tendons and ligaments to stretch which allow your joints to have a larger range of movement.
