Floating hinge
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A floating hinge is a hinge that, while able to behave as a normal hinge, can also be used to hold two pieces a constant distance from one another; this distance can, in many floating hinges, be adjusted.
They are commonly used in grills, as they allow for even heating of both sides of a foodstuff without crushing it.
