Folk may refer to:

• a specific people, tribe, or nation, especially one of the Germanic peoples (see Folk)
• folklore, the body of verbal expressive culture among a particular population, comprising the oral tradition of that group
• folk art, art by traditionally trained, as opposed to academically trained, artists

In music:

• folk music or folksong, music by and of the common people.
• folk dance, a 19th century form of dance
• folk-punk, a genre of music that combines elements of folk and punk rock music
• folk rock, a genre, combining elements of folk music and rock music
• folk metal, a sub-genre of heavy metal that incorporates elements of folk music
• neofolk, a relatively new form of folk music, influenced by traditional folk and more modern, industrial music.
