Forbes 400

The Forbes 400 or 400 Richest Americans (est. 1982) is an annual list published by Forbes Magazine magazine of the wealthiest 400 Americans, ranked by net worth. In 2006, their combined wealth topped $1.25 trillion, and all of the members of the list were billionaires.
The 25th annual edition has 28 new members including natural gas tycoons Aubrey McClendon and Tom Ward, real estate developer Stephen M. Ross, and Manny Mashouf who founded Bebe stores.

At the top of the list is Bill Gates, co-founder of Microsoft, with a net worth of 53 billion dollars. Google co-founders Sergey Brin and Larry Page are the youngest members at 33 years old and ranked 12th and 13th overall, each worth about $14 billion. The 400th wealthiest person was shared by 27 members. The Forbes 400 list contains other prominent names including Donald Trump (Ranked 94 with $2.9 billion).
