Fox Valley (Illinois)

The Fox Valley is a region within Illinois and Wisconsin that borders Chicagoland. This region centers on the Fox River of Illinois and Wisconsin. Around 1 million people live in this area.
Native American tribes that lived near the Fox River included the Potawatomi, Sac, and Fox tribes.
Some of cities in the Fox Valley are part of the rust belt. These include Aurora, Batavia and Elgin.
Within this region are the Tri-Cities area, which include Batavia, Illinois, St. Charles, Illinois, and Geneva, Illinois.
