Fred Buttel

Fred Buttel, (1948-2005) was a professor of rural sociology and environmental studies at the University of Wisconsin. Buttel was previously a professor of rural sociology at Cornell University. He received a Ph.D. in rural sociology from the University of Wisconsin in 1975.
