Fred Green

Fred Warren Green (October 19, 1871 - November 30, 1936) was an American politician. Born in 1871 in Manistee, Michigan, he served as a Republican governor of Michigan from 1927 to 1931. He died in 1936 following a heart attack at the Munising Hospital in Munising, Michigan. He is buried, entombed in a mausoleum, at the Highland Park Cemetery in Ionia, Michigan.
Before serving as governor Green was mayor of Ionia, Michigan.
