Friedrich Wieck

(Johann Gottlob) Friedrich Wieck (August 18, 1785 - October 6, 1873) was a noted German piano and voice teacher, and the father of Clara Wieck Schumann. Besides his daughter, other famous pupils included Hans von Bülow and Robert Schumann. Schumann and Clara Wieck were married against Friedrich Wieck's will.
