Fritz

Fritz was originally a German nickname for Friedrich, or Frederick (der alte Fritz, a nickname for King Frederick II of Prussia). Common derivations include the surnames Fritsche, Fritche, and Fritsh. Fritz was a pejorative nickname given to Germans during World War II.
