Fur (island)

Fur is a small Danish island in the Limfjord. Fur has under 900 inhabitants. The island covers an area of 22 km². It is located at 9.01E Longitude and 56.49N Latitude.
The island is one of the few places in the world with deposits of the special kind of clay, moler. Fossil chase is a popular activity on the island, and the moler makes it possible to find fossils, which are more than 55 million years old.
