Gallinule

Gallinule is a common name that refers to some birds of the rail family Rallidae. They include:
- Purple Swamphen, or Purple Gallinule, also known as the Sultana Bird, Porphyrio porphyrio
- Allen's Gallinule, Porphyrio alleni
- American Purple Gallinule, Porphyrio martinica
- Azure Gallinule, Porphyrio flavirostris
- Common Moorhen, or Common Gallinule, Gallinula chloropus
