Gauss

Carl Friedrich Gauss was a German mathematician and physicist. Many things are named after him:
- Gauss (ship), a German research ship;
- Gauss (unit), the cgs unit of magnetic flux density or magnetic induction;
- Gaussberg, a mountain in Antarctica;
- Gauss (crater), a crater on the moon;
- GAUSS (software), a software package;
