Broadhurst Theatre

The Broadhurst Theatre is a Broadway theatre in New York City originally co-owned by the Shubert brothers and George Howells Broadhurst. It is located at 235 West 44th Street. It will house Alan Bennett's play The History Boys until October 1, 2006. A special six-month return engagement of Les Miserables will then begin previews at the Broadhurst on October 24, 2006.
In 1966, the long-running production of Cabaret, with music by John Kander and lyrics by Fred Ebb, played at the Broadhurst Theater for 1,166 performances. And in 1959, Fiorello! played for 796 performances at the Broadhurst, with a score by Bock and Harnick.
In 1993, Chita Rivera starred in the Tony-winning musical, The Kiss of the Spider Woman, which played for 906 performances.
