Sir George Clerk, 6th Baronet (19 November 1787 – 23 December 1867), was a British politician.
He was Member of Parliament for Edinburghshire from 1811 to 1832 and again from 1835–1837, for Stamford 1838–1847 and then for Dover from 1847 to 1852. He served as one of the Commissioners of Weights and Measures, 1818 to 1821; a Lord of the Admiralty, 1819 to 1827 and again 1828 to 1830, and a member of the Council of the Lord High Admiral (The Duke of Clarence) 1827 to 1828; Under-Secretary of State for the Home Department, 5 August to 22 November 1830; Parliamentary Secretary to the Treasury, 1834 to 1835; Financial Secretary to the Treasury, 1841 to 1845; Vice-President of the Board of Trade, 1845 to 1846.
