Gina Gershon (born June 10, 1962) is an American actress,

Gershon is well known for having a large and dedicated gay and lesbian following [1], probably influenced in part by her roles in such movies as Bound and Showgirls, in which she appeared in sexually provocative, nude lesbian love scenes.

Gershon was born in Los Angeles, California to Stan Gershon and Mickey Koppel, of Jewish heritage. She has dated hotel owner Shawn McPherson, wealthy entrepreneur Jay Penske, and actors John Cusack and Owen Wilson.

She attended Beverly Hills High School with Lenny Kravitz and the two remain close friends.

Gershon played Jew's harp on I Can't Decide a song on the Scissor Sisters 2006 release Ta-Dah.
