Goyescas

Goyescas is an nationalistic opera in three acts by Enrique Granados to a Spanish libretto by Fernando Periquet y Zuaznabar, inspired by the paintings of Goya. First performance: Metropolitan Opera, New York City, Jaunuary 28, 1916. It is often considered to be a great success.
