Heritage Institute of Technology is located in an agro-based environment of Anandapur, Kolkata. It is a private engineering and management education college affiliated to the West Bengal University of Technology, Kolkata.
The college was established in 2001 by Kalyan Bharti Trust, a conglomerate of like-minded industrialists. Currently it offers Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech; 6 Departments) and Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degrees. The Management Education Centre (Dean: Dr. Bani Sinha) provides Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with various specialisations.
