Hersilia is a genus of tree trunk spiders in the Hersiliidae family. Its members are sometimes called two-tailed spider, owing to their greatly enlarged spinnerets.
Males grow up to 8mm long, females up to 10mm.
They can be found in tree trunks in gardens or jungle fringes in Africa and Australasia.
