Throughout history there have been many alliances and organizations known as the Catholic League, including:
- Catholic League (U.S.) - Catholic civil rights group in the United States.
- Catholic League (German) - 17th century alliance of German Catholic States during the Thirty Years' War
- Catholic League (Italian) - Alliance led by the Papal States during the Italian Wars
- Catholic League (French) - Faction during the French Wars of Religion
- Philadelphia Catholic League - High School Sports League in Philadelphia
The were also several Holy Leagues, initiated by the Popes of the times:
- Holy League (1538) - a Catholic states' alliance that lost the Battle of Preveza in 1538 against the Ottomans
- Holy League (Mediterranean) - a Catholic states' alliance that won the Battle of Lepanto (1571)
- Holy League (Great Turkish war) - composed of European powers against the Ottoman Empire 1684 to 1699; Eastern Orthodox Russia was part of this league from 1686 onward.
